The Africa Mental Health Foundation (AMHF) is a prominent non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Nairobi, Kenya. Established in 2000 by Professor David M. Ndetei, a psychiatrist at the University of Nairobi, AMHF was officially registered in 2004. The foundation’s mission is to promote mental and neurological health through research, training, and the development of evidence-based policies and practices.
