Overview
Save Somali Women and Children (SSWC) is a non-governmental, non-profit civil society organization based in Mogadishu, Somalia, with offices in South and Central Somalia. Founded in 1992 during the height of the Somali Civil War by Somali women intellectuals, SSWC aims to empower vulnerable Somali women to regain dignity and address humanitarian gaps affecting women and children in their communities.
