Overview
The Wajir Peace and Development Agency (WPDA) is a non-governmental organization based in Wajir County, northeastern Kenya. Established in 1995 as the Wajir Peace and Development Committee (WPDC), it was formally registered as an NGO in 2003. WPDA was founded in response to escalating conflicts in the region, aiming to promote sustainable peace and self-reliance among the pastoralist communities .
